Many of our clients have some sailing experience yet would like a refresher course. This is possible on one of our charter yachts, or on your own ship. We also have a range of courses for advanced sailors.

We can offer you the following courses:

Yacht refresher course: This is a course for sailors who have not sailed for a number of years and who plan to rent or buy a boat, or who have just bought one. This course comprises two consecutive three-hour periods. An experienced instructor will teach you the basic skills you need to safely sail the Zeeland waters. You can take the course on your own yacht or on one of our charter ships (up to 32 foot).

cabin cruiser refresher course: This is the course for watersports lovers who have not sailed a cabin cruiser for some time and who intend to hire or buy a cabin cruiser. This course comprises two three-hour sessions. An experienced instructor will teach you a number of basic skills to enable you to safely sail the Zeeland waters. You can take the course on your own cruiser or on one of our charter ships (up to 32 foot).

Manoeuvring in the harbour yacht: This course will teach you, among other things, how to moor your yacht on low or high quays and how to manoeuvre in tight spaces (e.g. in a harbour box). The course consists of a three-hour session.

€ 125 p.p (course on charter ship, minimum participation 2 persons, in the event of > 2 participants10% discount p.p)
Manoeuvring in the harbour cabin cruiser: This course will teach you a number of skills, including how to moor your cabin cruiser on low or high quays, with or without the use of the bow screw. You will also be taught how best to safely sail into a box. The course consists of a three-hour session.

Sail trim : This course is particularly for sailors who want to make the most of what their ships have to offer and will therefore mostly be taught on board your own ship. The instructor will teach you a range of techniques to trim your sails optimally in every wind force. The course is offered as a three-hour session.

Gennaker training: An increasing number of sailors wishes to buy a gennaker. This large colourful and easy to handle frontsail improves the speed of your boat. An experienced competitive sailor will teach you all the things you will be expected to do: the preparations, trimming the sails, the teamwork, etc. It is all explained to you!
Price : € 150 per lesson block (on your own ship)
